Dear StretchFit Life Clients:

I am writing to share an exciting update regarding StretchFit Life.

Last month, I achieved my Level 4 Master Specialist certification.

This is the highest designation in our field, and I am honored to currently be the only Master Specialist in New England.

This advanced certification provides me with deeper assessment skills and sport-specific expertise, allowing me to more precisely identify and treat complex movement issues.

My ongoing commitment, since opening in 2019, to offer my clients the most advanced Fascial Stretch Therapy techniques has and will remain steadfast.

Gentle Readers,

I don’t know who needs this this morning, but I hope the light finds you before the heaviness does.

Before the mental list starts running. Before the old memories stretch their legs. Before you automatically brace for the day.

I hope it hits your shoulders in that quiet, golden way and for just a second you feel held instead of responsible for everything.

I know what it’s like to carry things for a long time. Some of them we chose. Some of them chose us. And sometimes we forget how heavy they’ve become because we’ve been strong for so long.

I hope a simple, steady kind of happiness makes its way to you. Not fireworks. Not forced positivity. Just something real and calm that shifts the air in your chest a little. Something that softens the tight places without demanding that you explain them.

I hope the patterns you’ve been living in start to loosen, even just a bit. That your breath deepens without you having to try. That your body feels safe enough to stop guarding for a moment.

And maybe one day, when you think about what once hurt so deeply, it won’t grip you the same way.

Healing doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it’s just this. A little more light. A little less armor. A small shift that turns into something bigger over time.

Here are the steps to apply the correct body mechanics:
1. Hold the shovel perpendicular to your body.
2. Top hand cradles the shovel handle with your palm facing up.
3. Inside hand faces the ground.
4. Arms fully extended and only slightly wider than your stance.
4. Bend your knees, loading your feet equally with your weight, and sit into your heels.
5. INHALE to load the shovel.
6. EXHALE pulling your lower abdomen IN.
7. Release the loaded snow using only your arms in a swaying-like motion.
**Do NOT let the handle-end cross the inside knee (closest to the pan). This will keep you from twisting into your back.**

ALWAYS keep your EYES, NOSE, KNEES, and TOES facing the same direction ⬆️.
Plan where you're throwing before loading the shovel. ↔️

We, fully, expect to be open on Tuesday.
