Educating new and expectant mothers on pregnancy, postpartum and newborn care🩺🤰🏼🤱🏼

06/20/2026

Are you lying awake at night wondering if your postpartum recovery is normal?

Because the truth is… no one hands you a guide explaining what healing should actually look like.

The real reason you feel uncertain isn’t because you’re overthinking.

It’s because postpartum education usually happens when you’re exhausted, recovering, and trying to care for a brand-new baby. As a Registered Nurse with a background in postpartum, I know this first hand.

Once you know what’s normal, what’s not, and when to reach out for help, everything feels different.

That’s exactly what we cover during a virtual postpartum nurse visit.

DM “POSTPARTUM” and I will send you details straight to your DM’s.

You just left your prenatal appointment, completely overwhelmed, and feeling overloaded with information. Nothing stuck.

You’ve been telling yourself after each prenatal appointment that you will just ask questions at your next one.

As each appointment goes by, it continues to get harder and harder for you to retain the information. New information is given, and you haven’t even recovered yet from the last appointment you had with the questions you forgot to ask.

What if, in just 30 minutes, you get the most clarity you’ve gotten during your entire pregnancy in that timeframe?

You will have a clear mind, a confident outlook, and an informed mama.

Are you laying in bed wondering about pregnancy things and people keep telling you “stop worrying”?

But what you know is that you’re not even sure what symptoms are important to know..

The real reason you keep feeling this way is because there hasn’t been a time during your prenatal appointments that you sat down and just talked about this topic.

And once you understand this, EVERYTHING changes.

Imagine feeling prepared and confident instead of second-guessing yourself.

This is exactly what I help pregnant mom’s with. Schedule that virtual nurse visit and together we can review this exact thing.

The Florida Mobile Mammography bus is coming to Brevard Health Alliance clinics this Summer making preventive breast care easier to access.
Screenings are available for patients with insurance or self-pay, and walk-ins are welcome.
If you’ve been meaning to schedule a mammogram, this is a great opportunity to take that step—or share this with someone who might need it. 💗

You’re leaving your prenatal or postpartum visit thinking, “I did not remember half the things that we reviewed in that visit.”

And often times you won’t remember every detail because you have several topics that are being discussed at that single visit.

Your prenatal visits feel overwhelming because of the little time you get to process that information to ask questions.

This is what I give you.

I give you the time to process this information and learn.

When I teach outside of the office and outside of the hospital, this gives you an opportunity to focus on those questions and topics you really want to dive into.

It’s so important for you to have that continued education and support in between your prenatal visits.

Pregnancy can bring so much joy—but it can also bring a lot of questions.

What symptoms are normal?
Should I call my provider if this happens?
Am I prepared for labor?
Is my baby okay if this happens?

When you don’t know what to expect, it’s easy for worry to fill in the gaps.

While pregnancy comes with uncertainties, understanding what’s happening in your body and knowing when to seek guidance can help you feel more confident and less overwhelmed.

You deserve to enjoy this season with more peace of mind and fewer late-night Google searches.

So here’s my question: What would change in your life if you finally solved the constant worry you have during your pregnancy?

Comment or DM “PREGNANT” and I will send you 5 questions to ask your OB or midwife during your pregnancy.

You don’t need another late-night Google search.

You know when it starts with one symptom…

Then suddenly it’s 12:47 a.m., your phone is glowing, and you’re reading 10 different answers that all say something different.

One site says it’s normal.
Another says call your doctor immediately.
And now your anxiety is louder than the symptom you started with.

Pregnancy and postpartum already come with enough unknowns.

You shouldn’t have to rely on internet guesses to feel okay.

What you actually need is clear, trusted guidance from someone who understands what you’re experiencing and can help you make sense of it in real time.

Because peace of mind shouldn’t come from a search bar. 🤍

You’re wondering if what you’re feeling is normal.

The cramping, headaches, round ligament pain, swelling, the baby’s movements, braxton hicks contractions..

There’s so much excitement.

But sometimes you’re questioning every new symptom and wondering if you should call your provider.

Pregnancy comes with a lot of unknowns, and it’s easy to find yourself down a Google rabbit hole searching for reassurance.

You deserve more than conflicting advice from the internet.

You deserve to understand what’s happening in your body, know what questions to ask, and feel confident about when something is normal—and when it deserves a call to your provider.

You keep thinking you’ll figure out postpartum once the baby gets here.

But that’s exactly what most moms said before they found themselves awake at 2 a.m. wondering:

“Is this normal?”

Is this amount of bleeding normal?
Is this pain normal?
Is it normal to feel emotional?
Did anyone even tell me recovery would be like this?

The more you know before delivery, the less time you’ll spend wondering afterward.💛

Here’s the thing…

Maybe your last pregnancy ended with a healthy baby and a healthy mama.

And for that, you’re grateful.

But deep down, you know there were moments when you felt completely unprepared for what was happening.

The symptoms you didn’t expect.

The questions you didn’t know to ask.

The changes in your body.

The emotions that caught you off guard.

The realities of postpartum recovery that no one really talked about.

Just because everything turned out okay doesn’t mean the experience felt easy.

When we feel unprepared for the unexpected, it can create anxiety, uncertainty, and a lot of unnecessary stress.

That’s one reason so many moms approach a future pregnancy differently.

Not because something went wrong before.

But because they want to feel more informed, more confident, and more prepared this time around.

You deserve more than simply “getting through” pregnancy and postpartum.

You deserve to understand what’s happening, know what to expect, and have someone you trust to turn to when questions come up.

❤️Preparation doesn’t eliminate every surprise. But it can make the journey feel a whole lot less overwhelming.
