We’re excited to announce that Kalogon is now accepting scanned shapes for Bondar custom back supports.

This expands Bondar’s customization capabilities to better accommodate users with more significant postural asymmetries and gives seating teams another option when a more individualized back support shape is needed.

With scanned ordering, ATPs and clinicians can capture the desired shape during the evaluation, scan the completed mold, and send it directly to Kalogon for fabrication. This allows Bondar to more closely reflect the unique contours established by the clinical team and expands the range of users who may be appropriate for Bondar.

We are excited to announce that Marty Evans has joined Kalogon as our first chief technology officer. Evans brings more than 25 years of experience designing and shipping consumer hardware at Microsoft, Meta, Magic Leap and HP, and he'll lead our engineering and product development teams as the we bring smart seating technology to more people who spend hours in a seat, from wheelchair users to pilots and passengers.

Evans began his career as a U.S. Air Force avionics technician, maintaining F-16 and F-117A stealth fighters. After earning his electrical engineering degree with top honors, he entered the consumer electronics industry in 1999. At Kalogon, Evans will shape our technology and lead engineering ex*****on from concept through production as we grow into new markets.

It was exciting to participate in discussions focused on making air travel more accessible and to connect with the people working to turn those conversations into meaningful change.

From seating and mobility solutions to new technologies and approaches across the travel experience, we’re encouraged by the innovation happening across the industry, and proud to be part of the conversation.
