A focus for us has been to be advocates for the families we represent as well as our own special needs son. Today having the opportunity to meet and listen to candidates speak on their positions on disability resources, spending, Medicaid funding etc was a wonderful experience. Also a huge bonus spending time with one of my favorite Ppec moms whom is always willing to help further support & create awareness for kids.

Brighter Days PPEC has proudly welcomed nursing Nursing students to complete pediatric clinical hours. It’s an incredible opportunity for future nurses to obtain hands on experience learning about G-tube care, tracheotomy care and providing exceptional nursing care to medically complex pediatric patients.

Keiser University was the first nursing program we began working with and today we’ve partnered with 5 nursing colleges. We’ve welcomed over 100 students through our doors over the past three years and each clinical rotation is as exciting as the first.

This week we received an Employer Choice Award from Keiser University. Keiser University Employer Choice award recognizes the outstanding community partner who bridges education and career success. Being the only recipient of the evening among all the career programs offered at Keiser University was truly an honor. Thank you Dr. Mulvany and Dr. Hayes for honoring Brighter Days PPEC and recognizing our dedication to Keiser nursing students.

We are committed to building exceptional nurses who can feel confident when caring for medically complex patients.

Thank you to our amazing team who contribute to each nursing student rotation and provide 1:1 support. 👏

And a very special thank you to the woman behind it all, Sara Booth. Sara is our Director of Nursing overseeing daily operations and orchestration of clinical rotations among all the nursing colleges we are affiliated with. Without her this opportunity would not be possible. I am truly honored to work with her every day!

This. I’m proud of the village we’ve created at Brighter Days PPEC. The beautiful conversations I have on a daily basis with moms like me navigating the waters of parenting a special needs child. The seas can be some days be calm, others rough and most unpredictable.
