Another generous donation for our matching fund to repair the pool. Rissa and James are so sad to see the pool closed this year. James grew up in Mendota and has many happy memories of the pool.

Huge thank you to Joyce Fassig. Joyce and her friends will miss the pool this summer. They would meet and walk the pool for exercise.

Pictured are volunteers from Nightengale's who were recently treated to lunch from Lisa Martin and Kim Pohl. Lisa and Kim thanked the volunteers for the many hours it takes to sort, price and display items that are donated. Pohl stated her Mom's favorite place to shop was always Nightengale's because of the quality selection and fair prices of items throughout the store. All donations are very much appreciated by the staff.

Amy and Dave Brewer gave a generous donation to Nightengales Thrift Shop matching grant towards repairing the Mendota Swimming Pool. Amy learned through her work in the Heart and Soul project that the swimming pool was one of the top things people appreciated about Mendota. Amy also has great memories of swimming in the pool as a kid. Thanks Dave and Amy!!
