500 mg is not 500 mg. Milligrams are the weight of the ingredient, not the amount of active compound inside it. An extract standardized to 5% delivers 25 mg of actives from 500 mg. A powder with no percentage gives you nothing to compare. Shuven™ prints the form and the percentage beside every amount. Reset: Ginger Root Extract 100 mg, 5% gingerols.

"Clinically studied" is not the same as "clinically dosed."

Studied means research exists on the ingredient. Dosed means the amount in the bottle matches the amount that research actually used. A product can hold 50 mg of something studied at 500 mg and still print "clinically studied" on the front.

Next time you see that phrase, look for the milligrams on the Supplement Facts panel and compare them to the study.

Shuven™ prints the exact amount of every active ingredient, so you can check it against the research yourself. No proprietary blends.

Some routines are worth coming back to.

Shuven™ Reset is 3 vegan capsules a day, with every dose printed on the label and no proprietary blends. The name Shuven comes from the Hebrew root shuv, "to return," and Reset is the formula the whole line is built around.

Focus. Reset. Sleep.

These are the first three Shuven™ formulas. Different times of day, one rule behind all of them: every ingredient and every milligram is printed on the label. No proprietary blends, nothing averaged into a total.

If you could only start with one, which would it be? Tell us in the comments.

Magnesium is not an ingredient.

A label that names only the mineral is telling you less than it looks like. Magnesium glycinate, citrate and oxide are different compounds, and they absorb differently. "Magnesium 300 mg" does not tell you which one is in the capsule.

The same problem shows up with live organisms. Lactobacillus rhamnosus is a species. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is a strain, and the research was run on the strain, not the species.

What to look for: a specific chemical form, or a strain designation for anything living. If the label will not name it, you cannot check it against the research.

Shuven™ names the form.

How to read a Supplement Facts panel. Six things worth knowing before you buy anything:

1. Serving size first. A label advertising 600 mg means nothing until you know whether that is one capsule or four.

2. Vitamins and minerals have established Daily Values, so they must be listed on their own line with their own weight. A blend cannot hide those.

3. Botanicals have no Daily Value. They can sit inside a proprietary blend where only the blend total is shown. That is where doses disappear.

4. Inside a blend, ingredients run in descending order by weight. The first name is the biggest share, the last is the smallest.

5. Standardization percentage. "Ashwagandha 600 mg" and "Ashwagandha 600 mg (5% withanolides)" are not the same claim.

6. Binders, fillers and capsule material live below the panel, not inside Supplement Facts.

Save this for your next label. Shuven™ publishes every dose. Built on clinical doses, not marketing doses.

Does a cGMP label mean a supplement works? No. It covers how the factory runs, not whether the doses match the research. Here's what to read instead.

CalmGut is now Shuven™.

The name comes from the Hebrew root shuv, meaning "to return." The idea behind it: wellness is less about adding more, and more about coming back to a steady baseline.

What has not changed is the rule the brand was built on. Every dose is printed on the label. No proprietary blends. Built on clinical doses, not marketing doses.

"Proprietary blend" sounds official. Here is what it actually means on a label.

The company only has to list the total weight of the blend, not how much of each ingredient is inside it. A 1,000 mg blend of five ingredients could be 960 mg of one and 10 mg of each of the other four, and the label would look exactly the same.

That matters because research is run at specific doses. If you cannot see the dose, you cannot compare it to the study.

Every Shuven™ formula lists the exact amount of every ingredient. No proprietary blends. You should never have to guess what you are taking.
