I often get asked if its hard to make soap. My answer...not really as long as your paying attention. Every time I make soap I am at risk of a chemical burn...most days I dont get hurt..and some days like this week my glove slips or the batter splatters and I end up with a painful lye burn like this one. Despite always wearing protective gear I still get an occasional burn.
