Next Thursday, join NWPF and Doreen Nicholas, MS, MHPA/CCC-SLP, on Zoom for a Meet the Expert on the Power of INTENT in Speech and Swallowing. Review the therapy approach and how daily exercise will strengthen the speech and swallowing muscles and facilitate the carryover of using INTENT in everyday conversation.

Our hearts are with everyone in the Spokane area right now as wildfires continue to burn close to home. 💜

We want you to know our Spokane-based NWPF team is safe. To protect our community's health and safety, some Spokane Programs might be temporarily paused this week. We will notify the affected groups via email once decisions are finalized.

If you or someone you love has Parkinson's, please be extra mindful of smoke — it can be tough on the lungs. Take care of yourselves, and we'll keep you posted here.
