Community connection was at the heart of two wonderful recent mornings at Avalon Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

From networking with local healthcare partners at Hamilatte to welcoming friends, families, and neighbors for our Summer-Themed Community Bingo, we were grateful for every conversation, laugh, shared resource, and new connection made along the way.

A special thank you to our friends from CareOne at Hamilton and Springpoint at Home for partnering with us, and to everyone who joined us for breakfast, bingo, prizes, and plenty of summer fun.

On behalf of the Avalon family, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Turtle Creek Quilters for their generosity and kindness.

Each quilt was lovingly handcrafted and thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique interests and personalities of our residents. From music and nature to sports and other cherished hobbies, every quilt felt personal and meaningful to the individual who received it.

These beautiful gifts are so much more than blankets. They provide comfort, warmth, dignity, and a reminder that our residents are valued and cared for by the community around them.

The smiles on our residents’ faces said it all. Your dedication, compassion, and generosity touched many hearts and created memories that will last for years to come.
