A bee sting can put a damper on summer fun! For most people, removing the stinger, cleaning the area, applying a cold pack, and using OTC products like hydrocortisone cream, antihistamines, or pain relievers can help ease the discomfort.
If you experience trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or signs of a severe allergic reaction, seek emergency medical care immediately.
If you know you are severely allergic and need to get any updated epi-pen prescription, talk with one of our pharmacists and we would be happy to prescribe for you!
