This small device is changing how we understand metabolic health in real time.

A Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM), such as the FreeStyle Libre 3, is a tool that measures glucose levels continuously throughout the day and night.

Unlike a single blood draw or fingerstick, a CGM provides a full pattern of how glucose is responding in real time, including after meals, during sleep, and in response to activity.

This type of data is especially useful in metabolic health and when using GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide-based therapies), because it helps clinicians better understand:

-How consistently glucose levels are controlled throughout the day
-How different meals impact glucose spikes and variability
-How insulin sensitivity is changing over time
-How a patient is responding metabolically to treatment

In clinical practice, this allows for more precise decision-making rather than relying on isolated lab values.

The goal is not perfection in a single reading—it’s understanding trends over time to better support metabolic health, weight management, and long-term outcomes.

If you’re curious about whether a CGM could be helpful for your own health journey, talk with a qualified medical provider to see if it’s appropriate for you.

If ADHD symptoms feel more difficult or less controlled than before, hormonal changes may be a contributing factor.

During perimenopause, fluctuating estrogen can affect dopamine regulation, which plays a key role in attention, mood, memory, and executive function. This can lead to a noticeable increase in ADHD-related symptoms, even in individuals who previously felt well-managed.

Common changes may include:
• increased brain fog
• reduced focus and working memory
• emotional dysregulation
• fatigue
• task initiation difficulty

The good news: there are answers, support, and treatment options available.

At HRMN Health, we help women understand the connection between hormones, mental health, and overall wellbeing. Whether you need treatment, guidance, or simply the right resources, our goal is to help you feel like yourself again or help you get to the place where you do.

Weight gain and low testosterone often go hand in hand, but which comes first?

Excess weight can suppress the body’s natural testosterone production, while low testosterone can contribute to increased body fat, fatigue, low motivation, reduced muscle mass, and difficulty maintaining a healthy weight. It’s a cycle many men find themselves stuck in without understanding why.

At HRMN Health, we take a comprehensive approach to identifying the root cause. Through advanced lab evaluation and personalized treatment planning, we help patients address both hormonal imbalance and metabolic health together.

For many men, the combination of testosterone optimization and medically guided weight loss therapies such as tirzepatide has been life changing, improving energy, body composition, confidence, and overall quality of life.

If you’ve been struggling with fatigue, weight gain, low libido, brain fog, or symptoms of low testosterone, know that there are evidence based options available and you do not have to navigate it alone.

Schedule your appointment with HRMN Health to learn more about personalized treatment options designed around your goals.

Testosterone therapy is not one-size-fits-all.

There are different approaches depending on your symptoms, lab results, fertility goals, lifestyle, and overall health. Testosterone injections and enclomiphene work in different ways, and each option may be appropriate for different patients.

Understanding the differences is an important part of making informed decisions about hormone health.

New here? Hi, I’m Linnae Frisby 👋
Board-certified Nurse Practitioner at HRMN Health, specializing in female hormone health.

I’m a Montana native, so I should probably love the cold, but I’ll always choose a hot tub over skiing. I’m a matcha over coffee person, a dark chocolate enthusiast, and I really enjoy trying new restaurants with my husband. We’re both foodies, and he definitely does most of the cooking at home.👩‍🍳

When I’m not in clinic, you’ll find me at the gym. It’s my reset, my routine, and how I stay grounded.

At HRMN Health, I’m passionate about helping women understand their hormones, feel heard, and feel like themselves again through every stage of life.

Starting your health journey can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re unsure where to begin or what steps to take next. That’s exactly why we’ve created a simple, guided process to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Symptoms → Book Appointment → Labs → Provider Visit

That uncertainty is more common than you think, and it’s exactly why having a structured, guided approach matters. At our clinic, we’ve built a process that removes the guesswork and helps you move forward with confidence.

We start by understanding your symptoms, follow with appropriate lab work to gather meaningful data, and then connect you with a provider to review your results and create a personalized care plan.

You don’t need to have all the answers before you walk in. Our role is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, provide clinical insight, and ensure you feel informed and supported throughout each step.

Every part of your experience is designed to be straightforward, efficient, and centered around your individual needs so you can focus on your health without added stress or confusion.

3 Hormones Every Woman Needs to Understand.

Estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone play a critical role in your energy, mood, sleep, libido, and overall wellbeing. When these hormones are out of balance, even subtle changes can affect how you feel every day.

From hot flashes and brain fog to low libido and fatigue, these signals are your body’s way of telling you it’s time to pay attention. Understanding these hormones is the first step toward identifying imbalances and supporting your health.

📌 Save this for later and use it as your go-to reference for estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone health.
