Here’s the problem with salads …

Lettuce doesn’t have a lot of fiber.

And if you’re barely eating fiber or volume, this is exactly why your cravings can feel out of control and you keep reaching for snacks every afternoon, even “healthy” ones.

More fiber and helps you feel more full and in control between meals.

Here are 3 ways to up the fiber so you can actually stay full and lose weight:

1️⃣ If you’re going to eat salads, make sure to add 2 cups worth of additional non-starchy veggies that are going to provide more fiber (not just a sprinkle of these things.) Think tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, peppers, artichoke, hearts of palm, etc.

2️⃣Choose whole food based fats instead of excess oils and dressings. The problem with oils and dressings is that they’re liquid so they’re not filling. I would prioritize getting your fats from Whole Foods sources such as avocado, cheese, nuts, seeds, hard-boiled eggs, etc. so that it’s more satiating.

3️⃣ Make a bowl instead of a salad. It’s just as easy, typically way more satisfying with more fibrous cooked veggies. Or you couldn’t even do a lettuceless salad with uncooked veggied!

Unwanted weight gain after PMOS (PCOS) diagnosis > Feeling confident and happy.😊

She was also ready to take control of the intense hunger and cravings that would hit her mid day and in the evening.

Because even though she was reaching for healthy snacks like dark chocolate, greek yogurt and halo top ice cream, she felt out of control and like she was sabotaging her weight loss every time she ate them.

Grace already had the basics down like weight training, high-protein meals, meal prep. But a few key things were missing that were keeping her body from burning fat.

Once we made these changes (swipe through to see what we did!) her body started letting go of weight within the first week. And her hunger and cravings started to decrease too.

You probably don’t need to add another workout to your routine…

If you’re someone already working out 3-5x a week but you have a sedentary job, adding another workout is not what you need to be focusing on.

What you actually need to prioritize is increasing your NEAT (non-exercise) movement, like steps.

NEAT move actually drives more of our daily metabolism than structured workouts do.

Because working out every day is only gonna do so much if you’re not moving for the rest of the day.
