First off, we didn't meet goal on our walk :(
First time since we started, which kind of sucks. But we will try again next year. We raised $1345 towards our $2000 goal. Still not bad, lol
Thanks to everyone that showed their support for our team!!!

CMSC is this week so I'm hoping to bring home some new information, especially about the bio-similar Tyruko for Tysabri. A few of the insurance companies want us to now use the bio similar. You all know I'm not a fan of generic or bio similar for treating MS. Hoping their lack of JCV testing data and parameters is enough to keep the brand.

Our walk is Saturday at Wicker Park in Highland. If you have not registered on the site, you will need to do it in person, this is non-negotiable, it is a safety thing so they know who is there in case of an emergency. Please register everyone in your party, if they are not preregistered. I was also alerted there some were having trouble with making online donations. You can make donations at the walk, if that is the case for you. I did not have any problems, but tech is glitchy, so there must be some type of hiccup somewhere. Our table will be inside the pavilion and hosted by April from the group. She has the shirts for those that gave me shirt sizes before I needed to order the shirts. The walk kicks off at 10am but I would suggest you get there early for a decent parking spot.

Since I won't be able to make this one, please post your pictures. I'm going to miss seeing all of you.

Our Walk is Saturday the 16th, we are at $720, not quite halfway to goal. Hoping to crush it like we have the past few years. Every little bit helps as this goes to research and programs to help everyone affected by MS. I know gas is almost $5 a gallon and things are tight. Please share our link, NOTHING is to small, even a $5 donation when combined with others makes an impact! This is the only fundraiser we do, please share,share and share again.
Our goal is set at $2000 far below what we did the past few years.

Let's do this!!! This is not only for us but future generations coming down the line that have to deal with MS as well.

There’s a side of MS that doesn’t show up on scans or symptom lists. It shows up in everyday moments, in the decisions you have to make, the pauses you didn’t plan for, and the emotions you carry. It’s the weight you feel when you have to slow down, when plans change at the last minute, or when fatigue takes over even though your mind is telling you to push through.

The guilt of all the "can'ts" might stack up, but know that you are not weak for needing rest, and you aren't letting anyone down by honoring your limits.
