I'm dedicated to sharing the importance of vitamins, minerals, and a nourishing lifestyle for strong, vibrant tresses. A Joyous Look was established in 2002 and our staff has a combined experience of around 25 years. Roch'e decided several years ago that she would like to make an ideal salon that not only catered to the public as patrons, but to other cosmetologists that had a dream of being in a stable, professional career. She decided that the key to a successful stylist/client relationship was to ensure a successful stylist/owner relationship.

If you know anything about Leandra Roch'e and Sean Roch'e, you know we have both put in extreme hours of work to perfect the peace within our control—which helps tremendously when things are beyond it.

​In April, we laid our beloved mother to rest. It was nerve-shattering. As you can see, I had very little energy left to give my peace lily, and it was on its last leg.

​Sean took me away for Mother's Day, helped plan a wonderful birthday celebration, and surrounded me with so much love. As you can see, we did a lot of "walking it out."

​Tears, stress, anxiety, physical ailments... all of it had to be walked out.

​I called him one day and said, "I have no more drive to create." And we had to walk that out, too.

​Our 𝚁𝚎𝚗𝚎𝚠 𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚛 dinner was more than just a meal—it was the launchpad for a higher version of ourselves. Looking back at the photos and the energy in the room, it’s clear: we aren’t just dreaming; we’re designing.

​🍷 𝚃𝚑𝚎 "𝙻𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚕 𝚄𝚙" 𝚁𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚙
​The conversation at the table was next-level. We moved past the "what" and got deep into the "how." We shared our personal goals, from health milestones to mindset shifts, creating a circle of accountability that doesn't end when the plates are cleared.

​🎯 𝙸𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 𝚂𝚎𝚝
​We walked away with more than full stomachs—we left with 𝚌𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜. We’ve defined the standard we’re holding ourselves to for the rest of the year. No more "trying"; it’s time for "doing."

​The first quarter was the warm-up. 𝚀𝚞𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟸 𝚒𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚎 𝚜𝚎𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚟𝚎𝚜. To crush it, we’re focusing on:

​⚙️ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Turning those dinner-table intentions into daily non-negotiables.
​💨 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺: Using the energy from our gathering to power through the "mid-year slump."
​🤝 "𝗠𝗼𝗺"𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: Checking in on each other to ensure no one’s personal goals fall by the wayside.

As a salon owner, January is our Super Bowl.

Demand.
Pressure.
Production.

There is no margin for reflection.
So I stopped pretending there was.
Instead of performing a rushed reset…
I postponed it.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.
𝗠𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿.

Because a true reset requires:
• 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻
