, income or circumstance. Whether you’re looking for an affordable family doctor, dentist, counselor, psychiatrist, addictions service or family social services, we’re here to help you. Indiana residents may qualify for fee assistance with our discounted fee scale based on income and family size. Our patient financial services team can help determine coverage and design a payment plan to fit your circumstances. If you're looking to enroll in Medicare, Medicaid, HIP, or marketplace insurance, our licensed insurance navigators can help you. No one will be turned away for inability to pay. Beginning June 15, all initial mental health assessments (intakes) will be walk-in appointments with Same Day Access at our East Chicago (3909 Indianapolis Blvd) and Merrillville (8555 Taft St) Care Centers.

Individuals should plan 2-2.5 hours for assessments. Clients who are looking for substance abuse services or require transportation will need to pre-schedule by calling 219-769-4005. Take the first step in your mental health journey and stop in today.

June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, giving all of us an opportunity to hold conversations about the brain, Alzheimer’s disease, and other dementias. 50 million people worldwide are living with dementia, and 5.8 million Americans are currently affected by Alzheimer’s disease. But we have a chance to increase awareness, combat this disease, and ultimately, accomplish our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s disease.
