🐴🎉 Fall Lessons Are Almost Here at EEU! 🎉🐴

What a great way to spend a Sunday! Our amazing volunteers gathered at Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited for another volunteer training session as we get ready to welcome our riders back to the barn! ❤️

Our fall therapeutic riding lessons begin right after Labor Day, and we can’t wait to see our student riders, families, volunteers, and horses back in action! 🐎✨

🌳 Thank you, EEU volunteers! 💚🐴

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to help with the initial cleanup at Exceptional Equestrians following Tuesday’s storm. Your hard work is already making a big difference!

Today’s team focused on cutting up trees that were safely accessible for volunteers. There’s still plenty of work to do, and we’re planning another cleanup effort this weekend. If you’re willing to lend a hand, we’d love to have you join us! 💪🌳

We also want to thank everyone who has made a donation to help cover the unexpected cleanup expenses. ❤️ Your generosity means so much.

Unfortunately, some of the damaged trees are too large or hazardous for volunteers to handle safely. We will need to hire professional tree services to remove those trees, so additional donations are greatly appreciated.

🌩️ STORM UPDATE FROM EEU 🌩️

The storm hit Exceptional Equestrians yesterday, just as it did many homes and businesses throughout Lake County. We are incredibly grateful that, despite the damage around the property, all of our horses are safe and unharmed. 🐴❤️

Lisa proactively brought the horses inside before the storm arrived, and thankfully, there does not appear to be any damage to our buildings. 🙏

Unfortunately, we have several trees that have fallen, along with a number of very large limbs that have come down. 🌳💨 Some of the damage will require professional tree removal, and we expect the cleanup to be a significant expense for EEU.

We could really use your help! 💙

🪚 Volunteers: If you have a large chainsaw, tree-cutting experience, or are able to help with cleanup, please send us a message. We will need extra hands to get the property cleaned up and safe again.

💰 Donations: The cost of removing the larger damaged trees will be an unexpected expense for our nonprofit. If you are able to make a donation to help us cover the storm cleanup costs, every dollar will make a difference and help us keep our resources focused on the children and families we serve. ❤️🐴

🌟🐴 Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited was honored to host this morning's meeting of the Hobart Kiwanis Club! 💙

The morning included updates on upcoming Kiwanis and EEU events, followed by a tour of our facility where members had the opportunity to learn more about our therapeutic riding program, meet our incredible therapy horses, and see firsthand how equine-assisted services are changing lives. 🐎❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the Hobart Kiwanis Club's continued friendship and support of EEU. Their dedication to serving our community reflects the true spirit of volunteerism and making a difference. Partnerships like this help ensure that we can continue providing life-changing opportunities for the children and adults we serve. 🤝🌟

What a fun afternoon!
Our friends from The Blind Social Center visited Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited, Inc., learned about the horses, groomed and walked with them.
TBSC provides services for those who are blind or sight impaired in NWI.
Thanks to everyone who attended and the volunteers who came out to help today. 💜💜🐎🐎🐎🐎
