🐴🌟 June is Horse Sponsor Month at Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited! 🌟🐴

Our amazing therapy horses and mule are the heart of EEU, helping children and adults gain confidence, independence, healing, and joy through therapeutic riding. Their gentle spirits and patient hearts make a life-changing impact every single day. ❤️

This month, we invite individuals, families, and businesses to become Horse Sponsors and help provide the care our beloved herd deserves. Sponsors can choose to support one of our long-time equine partners — Barney, Missy, Joe, Boo, Prince, Link, or Red — or one of our newer herd members, including Casper, Roxy, Teddy, or Scooby! 🫏🐴

A sponsorship is just $1,000 for the year or $100 per month, and helps cover:
✔️ Hay & grain
✔️ Vitamins & supplements
✔️ Farrier services
✔️ Veterinary & medical care

When you sponsor a horse, you are supporting not only the animal, but also every rider whose life is touched by their compassion and partnership.

Hello everyone!! 🤩For anyone that hasn’t been to a volunteer training session yet this calendar year or to any new volunteers looking to start you are in luck! The training is to learn to help our students during their riding lesson. We have 2 new training days this week. Please join us for a training on
Thursday May 28 from 6-8pm or
Saturday May 30 from 11-1pm.

🐴❤️ Welcome to the EEU Family, Scooby and Teddy! ❤️🐴

We are excited to introduce two wonderful new additions to the Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited herd!

🌟 Scooby is a handsome 15-year-old spotted gaited/Gypsy cross gelding with a gentle personality and years of experience carrying riders of all skill levels. He stands patiently for mounting and dismounting, neck reins beautifully, and is equally comfortable riding alone or with a group. Most importantly, Scooby is known for being safe, sane, and incredibly kind - qualities that make him a great fit for our program.

🌟 Teddy is a beautiful 9-year-old John mule with a smooth gait and a rocking-chair lope. He has experience on the trails, packing gear, and ponying horses. Teddy is quiet, willing, and well-mannered, loading, tying, and saddling with ease. His calm disposition and versatility make him a welcome addition to the EEU team.

Our riders, volunteers, and staff are looking forward to getting to know these amazing animals and helping them settle into their new home. Be sure to say hello to Scooby and Teddy the next time you're at the barn!

Today we say farewell to a very special member of the EEU family — Bandit. 🐴❤️

After many wonderful years serving as a beloved therapy horse at Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited, Bandit is returning home to his owner. Throughout his time at EEU, Bandit touched countless lives with his gentle spirit, patience, and steady presence. He quickly became a favorite among so many of our riders, volunteers, and staff, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Bandit helped riders build confidence, strength, balance, and joy — one ride at a time. While we will miss seeing his sweet face around the barn, we are incredibly grateful for all the years he dedicated to helping others.

Thank you, Bandit, for the love, lessons, and happiness you brought to our EEU family. Wishing you a relaxing and happy retirement back home. 💙
