Not every wound has to become wisdom.

Some things didn’t happen to teach you.
They didn’t make you stronger.
They weren’t secretly a gift.

Some things just fu***ng hurt.

You don’t have to turn every devastation into a lesson to justify surviving it.

Sometimes there is no wisdom.

Sometimes you just need to bleed.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop accepting the role someone else wrote for you.

Their anger. Their assumptions. Their disappointment. Their version of who you are.

You don’t have to step into any of it.

You can simply sit back and watch the movie.

Notice the characters. Notice the plot. Notice the story they’re telling themselves.

And remember: you are not required to become a character in someone else’s projection.

At Woven Joy, so much of the work is learning to recognize what belongs to us, and gently releasing what never did.

You can witness someone’s story without making it your truth. 🤍
