Shelly Quiring and I, along with Amada Senior Care, recently hosted Happy Hour, and apparently there’s a wonderful tradition to close out the event—everyone gets up and dances to Uptown Funk!

And let me tell you, this is aging at its finest. 💃🕺

There was dancing, singing, laughter, and so much joy in the room. It was a beautiful reminder that living life to the fullest has nothing to do with age and everything to do with attitude.

We had an absolute blast and left with full hearts and big smiles!

Visiting elderly parents this holiday season? Here are 3 quick things to check to ensure they’re safe and thriving at home:

✅ 1. Peek in the fridge
Is there fresh food? Expired items or empty shelves can signal challenges with shopping or nutrition.

✅ 2. Look around the home
Are walkways clear of clutter? Check for loose rugs or cords that could cause falls.

✅ 3. Observe daily routines
Are medications organized and being taken? Notice if mail is piling up or bills are unpaid—these can be signs of overwhelm.
