Traditional Korean art doesn’t need a traditional room.

For artist Karina Woldt (), painting is a way of healing.

Throughout her life, art has given her a place to work through emotions, enter a state of flow, and return to the present moment. Again and again, her inspiration leads her back to nature, especially the sea: a place she describes as one of tranquility, restoration, and renewed energy.

That connection flows through her paintings in waves, mountains, light, flowers, animals, and the human spirit.

Karina hopes her art can offer others some of what creating it gives her: a moment to slow down, reconnect, and feel uplifted.

Where would you place a reminder that you are already shining? ✨

In an office, Light of Life #25: We’re All Shining can inspire us to bring our light into our work. In a foyer, it can welcome everyone with uplifting energy. In a kitchen, bedroom, or child’s playroom, its radiant colors can bring warmth, joy, and a sense of possibility to everyday life.

Given by Jisu Han for Change Your Energy’s 13th anniversary, this artwork centers on a small light that gently expands outward. It reflects the light that already exists within each of us, ready to be remembered and shared.

I spend a lot of time looking at artwork on a screen, but opening a piece and seeing it in person is a completely different experience. ✨

I ordered *Light of Life #25: We’re All Shining*, the new artwork Jisu Han created for Change Your Energy’s 13th anniversary, and filmed the moment I opened it.

At the center is a small light radiating outward through layers of color. Jisu created the painting as a reminder that we are all beings who already shine. Our light is not something we have to earn or receive from outside ourselves. It is already within us.

Now I just need to decide exactly where to hang it. 💚

This is Light of Life #25: We're All Shining by Jisu Han, specially offered to Change Your Energy for our 13th anniversary.

In making this piece, as she does with all her art, Jisu painted from deep meditation. It brings to life her awareness that:

"We are all beings who already shine. That light is not something bestowed from the outside; it is an essential energy that emanates from deep within us."

Look closely and you'll also find her signature Birds of the Soul drifting through the painting. They symbolize the pure essence within us that remains whole, free, and alive.
