This morning we distilled and infused a fresh batch of our Triple Extracted Turkey Tail tinctures using a whole fruiting body approach with naturally occurring trace minerals.

One of the biggest misconceptions in the mushroom world is that all mushroom products function the same. They don’t.

Before buying any mushroom product, ask yourself:

• What am I trying to support?
• Which mushroom constituents are responsible for that function?
• What extraction process is needed to make those constituents bioavailable?

The answers matter.

I see people spend a lot of money on mushroom powders expecting a specific function from compounds that are only bioavailable using a different extraction process. Powders are suitable for some things, but not everything.

Ask questions. Find a company that can clearly explain what they’re using, why they’re using it, and how it’s processed. Trust, but verify. Do your own research as well and become an informed Pet Parent.
