Monday is upon us and we hope you are ready to dominate your week and make massive movement towards your goals!

“PRESSURE IS A PRIVILEGE!”

There is no doubt that at some point in life you are going to feel pressure. Many times though, we view pressure as a negative feeling or a feeling that makes us worried or stressed.

However, when you can understand that pressure is a privilege, you can use pressure to help you double the speed of success. Feeling pressure more times than not is a sign of progress! 📈

It means that someone believes in you and knows you are capable of achieving greatness! If the pressure you are feeling is from yourself, great! Then that means that you believe in yourself and know you are capable of achieving more!

As you go through this week we want you to embrace the pressure that you feel and know that you are capable and able to achieve massive success! 💪

This past Friday we had our wine and yoga event, or WOGA. Nearly 40 people packed the gym. Everyone worked hard all week and earned the relaxation and wine 🍷🧘‍♀️

Fitness and wellness are not always about sacrifices and giving things up. With a little creativity and planning, things you once thought off limits can fit into a nutritional plan!

Word of the Week ⚠️ 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳𝘀 ⚠️

Everyone has limiting beliefs…

But not everyone takes the time to be intentional about identifying and questioning them. In fact, most people don’t even recognize their limiting beliefs. Instead, they accept them as facts that can’t be changed!

Limiting beliefs are just little lies and stories you’ve told yourself about who you are and what you’re capable (and incapable) of for so long that you’ve come to believe that they are set-in-stone truths.

They sound like this:
•I’m just not a morning person
•Both my parents were overweight. I just have terrible genetics!
•I’m not a runner
•I’m not very strong
•Once I have one bite, I have to eat the whole thing!
•I’m a nighttime snacker

Do you see how all of these make identity-forming statements about who you believe you are?

THAT’S what makes them so detrimental to long-term change! Limiting beliefs are like a thermostat that will always reset you to the same temperature despite your efforts to turn up the heat.

They will reel you back in and put you back to where you started, and the worst part is, when this happens, most people just say, “See? I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.”

DON’T LET THAT BE YOU!

Take on the uncomfortable process of digging into what YOUR limiting beliefs are. This may take some time since you’ve probably been repeating them to yourself for so long that you don’t even realize they’re not facts.

We recommend writing them down on the left-hand side of a piece of paper, then drawing a line down the middle and write out a new TRUTH to combat that lie.

It won’t be easy, but it WILL be worth it!

Do you often feel stressed and overwhelmed? Sometimes it can be helpful to sit back and take a look at your life as a cup and identify the things that fill your cup, the things that drain it, and then finding a way to balance them.

Things that can fill your cup:
•A good nights sleep
•Making time to move or exercise everyday
•Eating healthy food
•Drinking adequate amounts of water
•Genuine REST

Things that can drain your cup:
•Stress
•Travel
•Certain types of work projects
•Too much time on social media

If you want to feel energized and present you must focus on consistently doing the things that fill your cup. You must fill your own cup before you can be there for others!
