We love being accessible to our patients and want you to feel comfortable reaching out when you have a question or concern. Our HIPAA-compliant texting platform makes it easy to securely send photos, updates, and questions directly to our office.
We do, however, want to clarify an important part of this service.
When a message or photo requires one of our providers to review your medical history, evaluate a skin concern, interpret a photo, recommend treatment, adjust medication, or provide professional medical guidance, this becomes part of your medical care.
To provide that care safely and appropriately, we may need to schedule and document a billable office or telehealth visit rather than provide medical advice through an informal text exchange.
Our providers genuinely want to help, but their clinical time is valuable—and, more importantly, medical recommendations deserve the same thoughtful evaluation and documentation whether they happen in the office or remotely.
Please continue to use our secure texting platform. Our team will review your message and let you know whether we can answer it quickly or whether your concern requires an appointment with a provider.
