APP-RECIATION: Today marks the beginning of , recognizing the incredible care our give each and every day. APPs are nonphysician providers like or that are specially trained to diagnose, treat, and manage many patients' medical conditions. They are essential in increasing access to care and collaborate with physicians, care managers, and other caregivers to meet patients where they are.

DAY OF CARING: Our Intermountain Health caregivers are proud to have been invited to be part of United Way of Southern Nevada 's 2026 today, the largest day of for UWSN.

Partnering with Green Our Planet, Volunteers worked side-by-side enhancing the Frank Kim Elementary School garden. We planted, weeded, refreshed the garden beds, and provided general maintenance to the landscape. Our project was one of 50 community-focused campaigns across the valley. Through this work, we also helped provide a foundation for students to learn more about gardening, including caring for it and growing their own food.

Thank you to the United Way of Southern Nevada and Frank Kim Elementary School for letting us with them today!

9/11 DAY: In recognition of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, Intermountain Health joined other Southern Nevada organizations to participate in a nationwide campaign to address . As part of 9/11 Day, we came together to pack more than 190,000 meals to be delivered to local food banks. Las Vegas is one of 50 cities across the country taking part in this mission.
