Exciting news from Montana!

Big Sky Rehabilitation Hospital has completed a major expansion, growing from a 17-bed rehabilitation unit to 40 private patient rooms, allowing more patients throughout the region to receive specialized rehabilitative care close to home. Read more: https://bit.ly/4yk5LMS

In this role, Brywczynski will help guide operational efforts supporting high-quality patient care, strong hospital operations, and Ernest Health’s continued strategic growth. He will also help advance the organization’s mission of providing exceptional rehabilitative care to patients and communities across its national network.

Brywczynski brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience across provider organizations and healthcare consulting. His experience also includes strategic planning, integration, physician alignment, business development, and healthcare consulting.

🏥 We’re growing in Colorado!

Ernest Health has broken ground on Denver Regional Rehabilitation Hospital of Broomfield, a new 56-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that will bring specialized inpatient rehabilitation closer to patients and families in Broomfield and surrounding communities. “This is an exciting milestone as we expand Ernest Health’s ability to reach more Coloradans with high-quality rehabilitation,” says Jake Socha, CEO of Ernest Health. “Broomfield and surrounding communities are growing, and with that growth comes a greater need for specialized post-acute care. We’re proud to continue our investment in Colorado to bring high-quality inpatient rehabilitation closer to home for many patients and families.”

The new hospital will feature all private patient rooms, a therapy gym equipped with the latest rehabilitative technology and equipment, a therapeutic courtyard, and an activities of daily living suite. Once fully operational, it is expected to serve more than 1,000 patients each year and employ approximately 175 team members.

“Many patients from Broomfield and the surrounding areas currently have to travel farther from home to receive specialized inpatient rehabilitation,” says Christine Duron, CEO of Denver Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. “Having this level of care available in their own community will make a meaningful difference for patients and their families."

Ernest Health is pleased to announce Phase 1 of its North Carolina development program, with six freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospitals planned for Winston-Salem, Mooresville, Gastonia, Hickory, South Asheville/Arden and Goldsboro. See here: https://bit.ly/46yJmiK

Sites have been secured in all six markets and are under the control of Ernest Health’s development partner, Summit Healthcare Group, a Winston-Salem-based healthcare real estate development firm with extensive experience delivering healthcare projects across North Carolina.

Each hospital will provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from conditions including stroke and other neurological disorders, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions. Hospitals will feature all-private patient suites, advanced therapy spaces, activities of daily living suites, in-house dialysis, restaurant-style dining and other amenities designed to support patients throughout their recovery.

“North Carolina is a priority state for Ernest Health, and we are moving decisively,” said Jake Socha, CEO of Ernest Health . “Sites are secured, our development partner is engaged and Phase 1 is underway. Our intention is to build the leading rehabilitation network in this state, and we have committed the capital, leadership and clinical expertise to do it.”

This expansion represents an important step in Ernest Health’s commitment to increasing access to specialized inpatient rehabilitation services and developing long-term partnerships within the communities we serve.
