🦋👑 Butterfly Queen Monarch Watch Update

The fall monarch migration is underway, and North Texas is now entering its traditional September 29–October 11 peak window, with the midpoint around October 7.

There’s encouraging news this year, too: the eastern monarch overwintering area increased by about 64% last winter, from 1.79 hectares (4.42 acres) to 2.93 hectares (7.24 acres). 💚

So keep watching local parks, gardens, and native wildflower areas — especially on sunny days and after cool fronts with north or northwest winds. 🌻

📸 Photograph your sightings and report them through Journey North or Texas Nature Trackers.

🦋👑 The Butterfly Queen has an announcement… Monarch Season has arrived in North Texas! 💚

Dallas–Fort Worth sits right along the monarch migration flyway, and this is the time of year when those beautiful travelers begin making their way south toward Mexico.

So yes… I am officially looking at every patch of wildflowers like:

👀🦋 “Are my butterflies here yet?” 😂💚

The traditional North Texas peak window runs from September 29 through October 11, with the midpoint falling around October 7 — which means the next several days are prime time to keep watch.

I put together this guide with a few of the best DFW places to look, plus a little Butterfly Queen tip for catching a good viewing day. 🌼🦋

And remember: days following a cool front with north or northwest winds can be especially promising.

There is something so beautiful about seeing a monarch resting on a flower here in Texas and realizing that tiny butterfly may be in the middle of an extraordinary journey all the way to Mexico. 🥹💚

So for the next couple of weeks…

Eyes on the skies.
Eyes on the flowers.
Cameras ready. 📸🦋

Because The Butterfly Queen is officially on Monarch Watch! 👑

💚🦋 Save this post for your North Texas monarch-watching plans—and share it with someone who’d love a butterfly day out!

☕️ Saturday Tea Moment with The Butterfly Queen 🦋

Good morning, friends. 💚

Today's cup is a comforting Vanilla Chai Black Tea—smooth vanilla blended with warm spices, sweet and spicy all at once. Notes of cinnamon and cardamom fill the air with the most wonderful aroma.

I added a little marshmallow root, French vanilla creamer, and a drizzle of honey for an extra cozy start to the morning. 🍯🫖

As I sit quietly with my tea, I'm reminded that one of the greatest blessings we can offer each other is prayer.

🙏 What can I pray about for you today?

Leave a request below, send me a message, or simply say, "Please pray for me."

You don't have to walk alone.

💚 "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2 (KJV)

💚 It's Rejuvenation Wednesday. 💚

The week isn't over.

Take a moment to refill your cup, refresh your spirit, and remember that God is with you every step of the way.

Rejuvenation Tea
Citrus Mint Detox Tea

🌿 1 green tea bag
🍋 2 lemon slices
🌱 3 mint leaves
🫚 Small slice ginger
🍯 Honey to taste
💧 Hot water

Steep 3–5 minutes
Sip, pray, and be renewed.

Rejuvenation Wednesday
Diffuser Blend

💛 3 drops Lemon
💜 2 drops Lavender
🤎 2 drops Frankincense

Scent Story: Bright • Peaceful • Encouraging
The perfect blend for prayer, focus, and a fresh start.

What are you doing today to rejuvenate your heart, mind, and spirit?

How are you refilling your cup?

☕️ Me: I'm sitting down with a hot cup of tea, thanking God for all His blessings, and resting in the promise that He restoreth my soul. 💚

🫖 May your tea stay warm, your heart stay encouraged, and your soul find rest in the One who restores it.

📖 "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." — Psalm 23:3 (KJV)

💚 Be refreshed.
💚 Be encouraged.
💚 Be renewed.

🙏🦋☕️💚

STOP SCROLLING.

This is your reminder to pray before you panic.

Before the worry.
Before the overthinking.
Before the stress.
Before the tears.

Pray.

Today I'm diffusing:

🙏 Sweet Hour of Prayer

🤎 3 Frankincense
💜 2 Lavender
🧡 1 Myrrh

As the aroma fills the room, I'm reminded that God's presence is often found in the quiet moments.

The moments when the tea is warm.
The diffuser is humming.
The world slows down.
And your heart remembers Who is in control.

📖 Philippians 4:6 KJV

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

Sometimes the answer isn't to work harder.

Sometimes the answer is to sit with God a little longer.

☕️ Take a sip.
🦋 Take a breath.
🙏 Say a prayer.

Then watch what happens.

💚 If you could use prayer today, leave a 🙏 in the comments.

I'd love to pray for you.
