Back-to-school season has a way of putting everything into perspective.

New schedules. New routines. Full calendars. And, for parents, a whole lot of questions about how to keep the family feeling their best through it all.

Right here on Metairie Road, NuWell Medicine is taking a different approach to wellness. Through its Reformative Medicine™ model, the team looks beyond symptoms to better understand the whole person, considering everything from nutrition and nutraceuticals to genomics, metabolism, and gut biology.

That whole-person approach can look different for every family. NuWell offers comprehensive diagnostic testing (gut & brain mapping, hormone & toxin analysis, etc.) medical examinations, preventative care, mental health support, nutrition guidance, physical therapy, therapeutics, IV Fusion Therapy, KidsWell pediatric care, and even more! The goal is proactive, personalized care that helps individuals and families better understand their health and create a plan that fits their needs.

And this time of year, they’re putting that approach into practice for parents.

NuWell Medicine NOLA is hosting a physician-led event on Thursday, September 24th (1:30-3:00 pm) focused on back-to-school wellness, with practical guidance on immunity, nutrition, and supplements, plus an open Q&A where parents can bring their questions directly to the medical team.

Because sometimes heading into a new school year feeling prepared starts with simply having the right care. We’re grateful to have a resource like NuWell Medicine right here in our Old Metairie neighborhood.
