You can learn more from ten seconds of watching someone walk than from a page of intake forms.
A walking assessment reads the whole chain in motion: how far the leg can extend, how much the arms swing, feet placement...in other words, where the body is borrowing range from a joint that should be stable. The complaint someone says they have and the pattern their body actually shows are often two different stories.
This is the piece a lot of stretching routines skip — they treat the loud spot and never ask what's driving it. Corrective Stretching Technique starts with assessment on purpose: find the compensation pattern first, then choose the stretch that changes it.
