“My relationship with sound began in 2010, the moment I was deeply moved by the resonance of a gong.

What started as a profound experience became a lifelong study, a daily practice, and eventually a calling to teach.

Over the years, sound became more than an instrument for relaxation. It became a pathway for self-development, awareness, and human transformation. Through the gong, I discovered a language that reaches beyond words and invites us to listen more deeply to ourselves.

In 2016, I founded NAMO Sanctuary as a space where art, consciousness, and community could meet. What began as a creative sanctuary gradually evolved into a school dedicated to the study and practice of sound and movement.

Today, NAMO is a place where people come to learn, practice, and develop themselves through sound, meditation, breathwork, and self-inquiry. My work is about helping them tune in, reconnect with their own inner wisdom, and become more aligned with who they truly are.

For more than fifteen years, sound has been my teacher.

The Energies & Movement We enter this week on the heels of early this morning's rare Blue Moon and Micromoon in Sagittarius. Full Moons are for releasing emotional clutter, but sitting opposite the Gemini Sun and Uranus, this one specifically challenges you to cut through collective chatter and trust your own inner wisdom. You don't need a crowd to validate the life you are quietly building in private.

Following this release, Mercury enters the sensitive waters of Cancer on Monday for the next ten weeks. When the planet of the mind travels here, mental energy naturally drops. If you feel a sudden wave of drowsiness or a strong urge to retreat, trust it. Rather than fighting that heavy feeling with extra caffeine, lean into it. The Gong Requires preparation. The gong is not a playlist. It is not ambient sound. It is not something you pick up because it looks good in a session.

It is one of the most powerful acoustic instruments in existence. In the wrong hands, at the wrong volume, without the right intention or training, it can overwhelm the nervous system rather than support it.

Every tradition that worked with the gong understood this. You did not simply play it. You studied it. You were prepared by someone who had been prepared before you. The lineage existed for a reason.

Taking the gong seriously means understanding that facilitation is a skill. That not everyone who owns one is ready to use it on others. That the experience of receiving sound and the responsibility of delivering it are two very different things.

The practice deserves that respect. So do the people in the room.
