Life does not have a happy ending.

Not because it is tragic
but because it is happening now.

And yet…
we keep postponing joy.

“I’ll be happy when…”
more money
better relationships
a more peaceful world

Tomorrow.
Tomorrow.
Tomorrow.

We’ve been trained to believe in a better tomorrow.
But tomorrow never arrives.

It’s almost like we’ve been collectively trained
by people in power and priests
to believe:

“a better tomorrow… tomorrow.”

So try this with me.

Take a slow breath.
Feel your body.
Look around.

Find one thing that is quietly beautiful
and give it your full attention.

Nothing to fix.
Just this.

…

Lately I’ve noticed something.

People ask if I’m excited about the future.

And the answer is… not really.

Not because life is dull
there are beautiful things coming

But something has shifted.

I’m not excited about later.
I’m in love with this.

This breath.
This moment.
This aliveness.

This is life.
Not the waiting room.

Right now.

Grateful. Soft. Wildly alive.

Just returned from Love Burn Miami with my heart cracked open in the best way.

So much gratitude for
the ocean that listens without interruption
the stars that remind me how small and how held I am
the mantras that steady my nervous system and open my heart
and the 10 principles of Burning Man,
especially Radical Self-Expression.

That permission matters.
To explore the parts of me that don’t make sense.
That don’t fit neatly.
That want to pray, play, chant, feel, and be seen.

This video captures a simple ceremony I offered
with the sea as witness
the stars as elders
my voice as prayer.

And then
as if on cue
fireworks burst over the water.

No words.
Just awe.
Just thank you.

Let’s be honest.
A lot of us are chasing highs in the name of Ta**ra.�
The next retreat. The next workshop. The next partner.

We touch something real… and then it fades.
�So we go looking for it again.

And I want to say this clearly:�peak experiences matter.
And they were never meant to be the destination.

They show us what’s possible.�They crack us open.�They give us a glimpse of what life can feel like.

But when we’re only given part of the map, those peaks don’t integrate.�They turn into something we chase instead of something we live.

That’s why people keep saying,�“American Ta**ra isn’t real Ta**ra.”
What we often practice is powerful, alive, and sincere —�and also incomplete

Navigating the New Age Decentralized Spiritual “University”
Austin often feels less like a city and more like a decentralized spiritual university.
No syllabus.
No single lineage.
No final authority.
Just breathwork here, ta**ra there, ecstatic dance, kirtan, circling—endless doorways into growth.
For many, this freedom is beautiful.
For some, it’s been confusing—or even harmful.
Here’s what’s helped me navigate with more safety, integrity, and joy:
• Honor your health
Listen to your body.
Notice contraction vs expansion.
Know your boundaries—and act on them.
• Honor others
Practice consent (touch, space, advice).
Tend to beginnings and endings with care.
You’ll meet these people again.
• Lean into your edge
Growth lives just outside comfort.
Expand slowly.
Don’t cross your boundaries to prove bravery.
• Develop your inner teacher
No one here is the final authority.
Others offer maps—you choose what fits now.
• Have fun
There will be tears and shadows.
Let play, humor, and joy be teachers too.

2025 taught me this:
The Universe doesn’t punish — it tightens the screw.
When I stopped rescuing others and started loving myself,
life softened into heaven on earth.
I stopped pouring love outward
hoping it would come back.
I poured it into myself.
And somehow… everything got better.

How the Universe Wakes Me Up
The Spiral Nudge
I’ve noticed a pattern in how the Universe teaches me.
When I’m unwilling to acknowledge something happening inside me—
a fear, a defense, a wound, a habit—
life doesn’t punish me.
It tightens the screw. Until eventually… I pause.
I stop arguing with reality.
And I truly acknowledge the pattern.
Not to fix it.
Not to shame it.
Not to spiritually bypass it.
Just to see it clearly and compassionately.
And that’s when something surprising happens.
The Universe softens.
Once I’ve acknowledged the pattern, life offers lower-stakes places to practice.This is why I’m hosting a free grief ritual to close the year consciously ✨
