Canada's first DeTACH procedure. A moment worth sharing.

Dr Gianluigi Bisleri at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto performed a minimally invasive mitral valve replacement (with our CORCYM Carbomedics), with ablation and LAA clipping, on a patient with particularly challenging anatomy.

In cases like this, every centimeter matters. DeTACH gave Dr Bisleri the space and control that a traditional MIS Chitwood clamp simply couldn't offer. His verdict? The device went beyond expectations.

A meaningful step forward in expanding access to advanced minimally invasive cardiac surgery across Canada. Thank you Dr. Bisleri and team for sharing this milestone!

We are proud to share a milestone in aortic valve repair: the first implantation of the HAART annuloplasty device in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This complex valve-preserving procedure was performed at Andalusia Hospital on a young patient with Marfan syndrome, Type A aortic dissection, and severe aortic and mitral regurgitation. A reconstructive strategy using HAART and MEMO 4D enabled an excellent surgical outcome and recovery.

The procedure was led by Dr Mazin Fatani and Dr Abdullah Baghaffar, with virtual support from Prof. GEORGE STAVRIDIS.
As noted by Drs: “Despite the complexity, the use of HAART significantly reduced the time required for aortic valve repair by approximately 90%. HAART aortic repair device revolutionized aortic repair and made it more accessible to Heart surgeons."

A strong step forward in advancing reproducible, valve-preserving solutions for complex aortic disease.

For 20 years, the Corcym Memo platform has been in the hands of cardiac surgeons, building a strong heritage.

We started with the groundbreaking MEMO 3D, a revolutionary semi-rigid annuloplasty ring for mitral valve repair, the first to feature a unique laser-cut cell design.
MEMO 3D ReChord and MEMO 4D built on that foundation, bringing further improvements and reshaping mitral valve repair.
Now, we’re introducing TriMemo, a tailored tricuspid annuloplasty ring that delivers true 3D physiological motion and restores the tricuspid’s natural function.
