one set got gentle morning sun. the other got peak UV hours with no shade. you can probably guess which one thrived.

your skin works the same way. safe sun exposure is a real thing, and timing matters more than most people realize.

the science is clear: excessive sun exposure damages the DNA within skin cells.

morning light supports vitamin D production, hormone regulation, and your mood. midday sun without protection speeds up collagen loss, dark spots, and premature aging.

it’s much harder for your skincare to work when you’re constantly damaging it with high UV exposure and no protection.

protect accordingly.

pro-tip: the weather app on your phone tells you what the current UV rating is. 2 or less: you don’t need sunscreen. 3 or more: use sunscreen.
