To close out this round of our Consultant Roundtable, Carley's answer is one we come back to often: coachability. 🔭

The most successful practices we work with stay open to patient feedback, ideas from their team, and outside perspective. They don't treat coaching as a sign that something is wrong. They treat it as the next opportunity to get better.

We call this the "we can, how can we" mindset. And once you start looking for it, you notice it in every practice that keeps growing.

Dan doesn't follow a formula, he built his own.🔧

Before YellowTelescope, at just 21, he built a 200-person sales team and helped grow a medical weight-loss company from $4M to $80M in less than three years.

Today, he draws on those experiences to help practices nationwide grow. Dan doesn’t just create results—he brings others along for the ride. 🏎️

Next up at the roundtable, we have our Senior Director, Dan Grantham, to give us a different perspective on practice growth. Dan believes the practices that grow the fastest are the ones that hire managers to build the brand. Not managers who cut it down. 📣

We have seen it across hundreds of practices. A new manager is handed the PnL and starts looking for things to cut. It looks like leadership, and for a while, the numbers even support it. What is harder to see is what is left with each decision. The referral source that got eliminated. The investment that had not matured yet.

The question is not what your manager is saving. It is what they are building. Stay tuned to hear from our final consultant, Carly, next. 🔎

It's not their fault. We have been inside enough practices to know the difference between a PCC problem and a role design problem. 🔦

Most PCCs were handed a phone, a half-written script, and a job description that was put together the week someone quit. Then measured against a booking ratio nobody ever explained to them.

If 2 or more of those points felt familiar, the gap in your numbers finally has a name.
Save this and message us if you want to know what fixing it actually looks like. 🤝

If you’re thinking about skipping this… DON'T‼️

300+ people. 16 hours. One unforgettable weekend. The practices that attend are typically running circles around the ones that stayed home, and most of them come back every year. 📈

You can justify not going all you want, but your numbers tend to tell a different story.

We call her "Abby Kadabra Karcz"🪄

Abby Karcz, Vice President at YellowTelescope, is the person our clients call when something is not working, and the reason it does not stay broken for long. She carries a client roster that would make most people's heads spin, responds at a pace that makes you wonder if she sleeps, and sets a bar most consultants have never seen. ✨

She is one of the reasons nearly all of our clients see same-day booking ratios between 65 and 98 percent.

The things Abby is genuinely bad at? Cooking (hence why she married a home chef), keeping her kids’ artwork (it’s cute, but there’s just too much of it), and relaxing (she’s still working on that one).

Stay tuned to meet the rest of our team of trusted YT consultants in the coming months. 🔎

You don’t JUST need more leads. You need a team that can close the ones you already have.

More ad spend doesn't fix a broken consultation process. More content doesn't train your front desk to ask for the sale. The real leak happens upstream, long before a patient ever books.

Here's the system we use to fix it.📒🔭

Talent gets you in the door. Training gets you results.🔭

We hear this a lot, and honestly, it's one of our favorite kinds of feedback. Your team came to us already good. But good is no longer good enough. When you invest in real development, real process, real coaching, that's when you see what good people are actually capable of.

Our Patient Care Coordinators aren't born knowing how to convert 80%+ of consults same-day or manage 200-400+ follow-ups a week with precision. They learn it. They practice it. They own it. There's a reason our clients saw an average growth of $800,000+ last year.

Most companies don’t struggle because they don’t have talent. They struggle because talent isn’t being used in the right way.

The idea is simple. People should be spending most of their time doing what they’re excellent or uniquely good at, and they should be freed up from the things they’re not great at or don’t really have energy for. When people sit in that middle space of being merely competent, it doesn’t create growth. It just creates cost. And there’s no exponential upside in that.

The upside comes when people are actually operating in their zone of strength, and the business is built around that. That’s where performance changes. 🔭
