Congratulations to Helin Karakus, MD, on this incredible and well-deserved recognition! 🎉

Helin has been selected as one of only three U.S. recipients of the 2026 Young Investigator Collegiality Award from the Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID).

This award recognizes promising early-career investigators who are making meaningful contributions to dermatologic research while fostering collaboration within the scientific community.

We are especially proud to see Helin recognized for her ongoing research in skin pigmentation and aging. She will also have the opportunity to present her work af the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR) Annual Meeting in Heidelberg, Germany.
