The inspiration behind Manta begins beneath the surface of the ocean.

Drawing from the effortless movement of manta rays, the architecture takes shape through sweeping gestures, layered canopies and softly curved forms—creating a sense of lightness and continuous movement.

Even its name carries a dual meaning: Manta evokes both marine life and the idea of a protective blanket—a symbol of comfort, shelter and community.

Architecture shaped by its surroundings, rather than imposed upon them.

Introducing Manta Design by Pininfarina.

Set along Brazil’s extraordinary Coral Coast in Porto de Pedras, Alagoas, Manta is a new beachfront hospitality and residential destination developed in collaboration with Cavalcante & Rolim.

Inspired by the effortless movement of manta rays beneath the ocean’s surface, the architecture translates movement, light and the rhythms of marine life into sweeping gestures, layered canopies and softly curved forms.

More than a destination, Manta is conceived as an immersive sanctuary where architecture becomes an extension of nature.

Created in collaboration with MV Group USA, this limited collection of six bespoke residences brings Pininfarina’s design philosophy into a new expression of American luxury living — where architecture, interiors, landscape and lifestyle come together as one.

On August 15, the collection will be presented during Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance weekend, celebrating a shared vision of timeless design, craftsmanship and innovation.

Connecting the tournament’s key spaces and extending its identity into the city, these installations transform movement into experience through architecture.
