Dr. Luis Rodriguez, MD, FASA, FSA Vice President and an incredible pediatric anesthesiology/clinical genetics panel sharing the past year of knowledge gained on a newly discovered mitochondrial mutation linked with severe neurological complications and death after general anesthesia, in some patients with maternal Venezuelan heritage. We are so grateful for the clinical experience and intensive research shared today, that will help us keep our patients safe.
