Village Pharmacy & Compounding

Village Pharmacy & Compounding Welcome to Village Pharmacy & Compounding. We are a family-owned community pharmacy located inside the Village of Kings Creek Shopping Plaza.

Village Pharmacy is a family owned and operated business. The owner, Luis Delgado and his wife Elizabeth both grew up in South Florida and have been together since the age of fifteen. After completing high school in South Florida, these high school sweethearts set off to begin their college careers at The University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Luis completed his undergraduate studies and w

ent on to attain his Doctorate in Pharmacy from UF's post-graduate pharmacy program. The program was ranked within the top 5 pharmacy schools in the nation. Elizabeth earned her bachelors degree in Health Sciences and finished among those at the top of her class. After completing her bachelors, Elizabeth went on to become a Dental Hygienist. In 2006, shortly after their graduation, Elizabeth and Luis returned home to Miami, Florida for their wedding and the beginning of the next chapter in their lives together. They would go on to have two kids of their own, Leah and Little Luis. While Elizabeth worked as a Dental Hygienist, Luis gained experience in both retail and hospital pharmacy settings. Luis went on to become the Associate Director of Pharmacy for a local Federally Qualified Health Center (F.Q.H.C.) where he specifically provided care to the those medically under-served; the poor, indigent and homeless. Luis has also had additional training to become a Florida Licensed Consultant Pharmacist and is certified in Pharmaceutical Compounding. Now, after much thought and prayer, Luis and Elizabeth have decided to embark on this journey to open their very own pharmacy. They hope to become an essential part of their very own community. Bringing together the pharmacy, doctor and patient to create a relationship that ultimately leads to better patient care. They are here to serve the needs of their community and hope you can gain their trust for all your pharmacy needs.

Florida heat is no joke ☀️🌴 — and some medications may affect how your body responds to it.

Certain medications can impact hydration, sweating, or the body’s ability to regulate temperature, which can make hot weather a little harder to handle.

If you’re spending more time outdoors, stay hydrated, take breaks from the heat, and talk to your pharmacist about whether your medications require any extra precautions.

Important: Never stop, skip, or change how you take a medication without first speaking with your pharmacist or healthcare provider.

Have questions about your medications? Our Village Pharmacy team is always here to help. 💚

There’s a lot of information (and misinformation) out there about hormone therapy. So let’s clear up a few common myths. 👏

Hormone therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. The potential benefits, risks, and treatment options can vary based on your symptoms, health history, and individual needs.

The best place to start? An informed conversation with a qualified healthcare provider who can help you understand your options.

Feeling tired all the time isn’t always something you should simply push through.

Iron plays an important role in helping your body transport oxygen, and when levels are low, symptoms like fatigue, headaches, dizziness, hair shedding, and more can show up.

If you’re concerned about your iron levels or have questions about supplementation, talk with your healthcare provider and our team before starting something new. We can help you better understand your options and how to take them safely.

Healthy skin starts with the right treatment plan—not just the most expensive skincare routine.

While quality skincare has its place, concerns like acne, rosacea, melasma, and hyperpigmentation often require a personalized treatment approach. Compounded dermatology medications can be customized to your skin’s unique needs, helping target the underlying cause instead of simply masking symptoms.

If you’re not seeing the results you hoped for, talk to your healthcare provider about whether a customized treatment plan may be right for you. ✨

Compounding isn’t about replacing commercial medications—it’s about making treatment work for you.

Colorectal cancer is no longer something that only affects older adults. In recent years, rates have been rising among younger adults, making awareness more important than ever.
While these symptoms don’t automatically mean cancer, they **should never be ignored**, especially if they persist or are accompanied by other changes.

Some warning signs include:

- Persistent abdominal pain
- Ongoing diarrhea or changes in bowel habits
- Re**al bleeding
- Iron deficiency or unexplained anemia

The earlier colorectal cancer is detected, the more treatable it often is.

If something feels off, don’t wait—talk to your healthcare provider. And if you have questions about your medications, supplements, or overall digestive health, our pharmacists are always here to help guide you toward the right next step.
