SLI’s 2nd Annual Quarters for a Cause Quarter Auction is coming up on Saturday, July 25, and we’re looking for basket donations to help make this year’s event even bigger and better!

Gift baskets of all kinds are welcome. Think self-care, movie night, sports, coffee lovers, family fun, seasonal themes, local favorites, and more. Get creative! Every basket helps create an exciting experience for our guests and supports SLI’s mission.

🍒👩‍🍳 Sweet things were happening in the kitchen this week! Chef Abby teamed up with our students for a fun hands-on cooking activity, and on the menu: personal cheesecakes!

Students got to build their own delicious creations and add the finishing touch with cherry topping. Activities like these are about more than making tasty treats. They help build confidence, encourage creativity, and create opportunities for learning through hands-on experiences.

We love seeing our students try new things and have fun in the kitchen. Great job, everyone… the cheesecakes were chef’s kiss amazing!
