PSA please read...Our power is back on, and we’d like to use it to help our community. 🖤

Given the widespread storm damage and the challenges our Michigan City and Northwest Indiana neighbors are facing, we have decided to postpone the Concrete Canvas Chalk event scheduled for tomorrow, Aug. 14. This is just a pause not a cancellation. We’ll announce a new date and time once we’re able to reschedule.

We would like to thank Kelley, the Chief Administrator at City Hall, for informing us on how many are still without power. She is actively trying to find ways to assist those affected. If youre in need of a place to charge your phone, laptop, portable oxygen equipment or other essential electronics, you are welcome to stop by INKwell Studio Tattoos, 1601 Franklin St, during business hours (12-8 p.m.). Bring your chargers, and we’ll make room wherever we can.

For now, our priority is being here for our community where we can. Please stay safe and check on each other.
