At Total Approach Therapy you will receive dedicated, one-on-one care throughout your entire therapy appointment. Vibrant health and a pain-free existence are possible – you’re in good hands. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to improve a person’s function: getting back to life. Occupational therapy practitioners have a holistic perspective, in which the focus is on adapting the environment to fit the person, and most importantly is the person is an integral part of the therapy team. Owner and practitioner, Marilyn Zurwaski, draws on her diverse background and 25 years experience to constantly evaluate and customize your care. Her many perspectives in natural pain relief and deep understanding of the total body approach to wellness allows her to identify the right treatment for you – healing is not a one-size-fits-all approach; it should honor each person and be as individual as you are. As an experienced Occupational Therapist, Marilyn uses a combination of client education and therapeutic approaches including traditional OT techniques, Clinical Acupressure, Process Acupressure, Craniosacral Therapy and Ergonomics.

I’d love to share an upcoming opportunity that may be of interest to you and your practice!

Insight Acupressure Clinical Acupressure 1 is a four-day, hands-on training being offered in Middleboro, Massachusetts, November 12–15, 2026.

This class provides practical acupressure skills that you can begin incorporating into your practice immediately after completing the training. Whether you’re looking to expand your services, enhance your existing approach, or add another hands-on modality to your toolkit, this course offers an opportunity to broaden the ways you support your clients’ well-being.

Massage therapists can earn 24 continuing education (CE) hours through this training, making it a valuable opportunity to expand their skills while fulfilling continuing education requirements.

Update on upcoming classes and Study Group:
Process Acupressure 1B will be over 2 weekends: April 18/19 and May 2/3. This class is the next progression from PA1A. Llink to register is at www.totalapproachtherapy.com

Next Study group is Wednesday April 8th from 7:00- 8:00 PM. All are invited to be with others who are learning and love Insight Acupressure. We will divide time into meditation, academic mini lecture and a guide self- care release.

I am currently teaching 2 different workshops monthly at the Lakeville Council of Aging. One is a self- care workshop of Acupressure for Arthritis and the other is a workshop for Fall Prevention. One is an Eastern modality and the other is a Western approach. This is the best of both worlds for me.
