💦 Not drinking enough water can actually irritate your bladder and increase urgency/frequency. A healthy bladder needs proper hydration — about 8 cups (64 oz) of fluids daily, with at least half being water, or roughly half your body weight in ounces.
With healthy bladder function, most people should be able to go 3–4 hours between bathroom trips while awake. If you constantly feel the urge to p*e, wake multiple times at night, leak urine, or were told you have a “small bladder,” it may be pelvic floor dysfunction — not just “normal.”
Quality Movement Physical Therapy and Wellness can help you identify the root causes of bladder urgency and frequency, improve bladder function, and help you get back to living your day with more confidence and less worry.
