We had a great time in Tiverton at Forza Cavallo Farm. It was great to be invited into their greenhouse to see what they are growing. Our souls were filled with joy being in nature with the animals and the beautiful sunshine!

We enjoyed a pep rally on Friday gearing up to the weekends RI Special Olympic’s events!! Our athletes love to compete and share in the wonderful camaraderie of SORI!

Three wonderful communities came together last week for the annual Spring Gala! Thank you to our co-hosts: Looking Upwards and AccessPointRI for making this year another success! The James L. Maher Center participants look forward to this event every year; a true celebration of friendship and community. Thank you to all of our volunteer ushers: the RI State Police, Bristol PD, Middletown PD, Portsmouth PD- including compassion dog Holly, Coventry FD, Tiverton FD, Special Olympics Newport Sharks (Dan, Mike, and Danny), Jenny and Joel, Amy and Matt, Noah, and James - each of you made this event memorable. Thank you to St. Barnabas Church for use of your lovely parish hall.
