Our Story
The vision for Plum started in the fall of 2019. Amanda and Ryan were enjoying dinner when they overheard a couple talking about the challenges they were facing as they tried to find pediatric care for their 4 month old son. That moment inspired a conversation that blossomed into a calling. As a provider working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Amanda is well aware of the challe
nges parents face when searching to find pediatric healthcare services. This difficulty doubles for parents that are looking for a passion driven provider to care for their child. She also saw a huge gap in the ability of current providers to provide the specialized care NICU Graduates typically need to continue their development. To address the Midland/Odessa metro area needs, Plum was born. Plum was designed from the ground up to be nimble, focused, and above all passionate. Our team understands that each day is an opportunity to improve our care approaches and every member is empowered to take action in support of that goal.
