💡PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT | Pigment Edition
Pigment is more than just “dark spots.” It’s a process malfunction, and effective pigment correction means targeting melanin production and the factors that trigger excess pigment in the first place.
Two of my favorite products for a pigment focused routine:
ZO Brightalive:
Brightalive helps target the appearance of discoloration by interfering with the pathways involved in melanin production. Its key brightening ingredients help reduce the look of existing pigmentation while supporting a more even, brighter complexion.
ZO Wrinkle + Texture Repair
Retinol works differently. By increasing skin cell turnover and encouraging healthier skin renewal, it helps improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation while also addressing the texture and signs of aging that often accompany sun-damaged skin.
Why combine?
They approach pigment from different angles. Brightalive focuses more directly on the pigment pathway, while retinol supports cellular turnover, regulation, and renewal.
And the most important part of any pigment plan is consistency + daily SPF. If we don’t control UV exposure and the triggers driving melanin production, pigment will keep fighting its way back.
This sort of skin prep paired with laser season will be a home run in evening your skin tone.🙌🏼
