A lot of people don’t struggle with motivation the way they think they do.
They’re not lazy.
They’re not “falling off.”
They’re not lacking discipline.
They’re just trying to follow plans that don’t actually fit their real life.
Work gets busy. Kids get sick. Energy is low. Schedules change.
And instead of adjusting… most people assume they’re the problem.
But what if the plan was the problem?
What if progress looked like learning how to keep going through those moments instead of starting over every time?
That’s a big part of what we work on here.
Not perfection.
Not all-or-nothing.
Just learning how to keep showing up in a way that actually works for you.
If you’ve felt this before you’re not alone. Hint: I feel this from time to time myself! even us personal trainers are invincible to this struggle.

When we take time away from exercise, we often tell ourselves we’re starting over.
But fitness is a skill.
And like any skill, sometimes you just get a little rusty.
You’re not rebuilding from zero. You’re getting back into routines, habits, and confidence that haven’t been practiced in a while.
So if things feel harder right now, that doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It doesn’t mean you’re behind.
It might just mean you’re getting back into practice.
And that’s okay 🤍

Sales calls give me ANXIETY. Here's why...

My business isn't about money it's about value!

Because real life doesn’t work like that.
Some days you feel strong and energized.
Some days you’re tired and just getting in the door feels like a win.
Both of those days count.
A big part of coaching here isn’t just writing workouts, it’s helping people learn how to adjust.
Shorter workouts.
Different exercises.
Slower pace.
Or sometimes just showing up and moving a little.
That’s not “doing less.”
That’s building something you can actually stick with until we are ready to do more.
Because the goal isn’t to be perfect for a few weeks.
It’s to create something that works for you long term.
And that starts with letting go of all-or-nothing.

Not sure where to start with running?

You’re not alone in that.

We hear it all the time
“I want to start, I just don’t know how.”
“I don’t feel ready yet.”
“I wouldn’t even know what to do.”

That’s exactly why we created this.

This isn’t about being a runner already.
It’s about learning how to become one at your own pace, in a way that actually feels doable.

We’ll guide you through it.
Help you build consistency.
And give you a plan you can stick with.

No pressure. No expectations to be “good” at it.

Just a place to start.

If this has been on your mind lately, this might be your sign to give it a try.

We see you.

The early mornings.
The “I almost didn’t come today” days.
The questions.
The moments where you slow down to actually learn something instead of just going through the motions.

It might not feel like much when you’re in it.

But this is what progress actually looks like.

Not extreme.
Not all-or-nothing.
Not chasing a perfect week.

Just showing up.
Learning as you go.
Building something you can actually stick with.

That matters more than anything.

So if this has been you lately, even in small ways, we see it.

And it doesn’t go unnoticed.💜

I used to think being a “good coach” meant pushing people harder.
More reps.
More weight.
More intensity.
And while those things can have their place… that’s not what actually helps most people long term.
What I’ve learned over time is this:
The best coaching isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about knowing when to adjust.
When to listen.
When to meet someone exactly where they’re at that day.
Because progress doesn’t come from being pushed past your limits every session.
It comes from building something you can come back to again and again.
That’s the kind of coaching we focus on here.

💛 We are growing—and we are serious about who we bring onto our team.

At Avielle Haven, we believe caregiving is both heart work and responsibility.

We are building a team that:
✔ Shows up
✔ Follows through
✔ Treats residents with dignity and respect
✔ Supports each other

⸝

Now hiring:
✨ 2nd Shift (3p–11p)
✨ 3rd Shift (11p–7a)

⸝

We’re looking for caregivers who:
• Truly care about people
• Take pride in their work
• Are dependable and accountable
• Want to build real connections with residents

Experience (1+ year) is preferred. Medication passing is a plus.
We will train the right person—but not the wrong mindset.

⸝

Expectations:
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday

⸝

What we offer:
• Flexible scheduling
• Opportunity to grow
• A strong, supportive team

(No benefits at this time)

Getting back into a routine after time off can feel harder than starting for the first time.
Not because you don’t know what to do…
But because you remember what you used to be able to do.

And that’s usually where things go wrong.

You try to jump right back into your “old routine”
Push yourself to where you think you should be
And within a couple weeks… you’re exhausted, sore, and off track again.
If that’s been your experience, you’re not doing anything wrong
You’re just skipping a really important step

Here’s a better way to ease back in:

Start smaller than you think you need to
→ This isn’t about proving anything, it’s about rebuilding consistency

Schedule it like it matters
→ Not “when you have time” — decide ahead of time what your week looks like

Take the pressure off
→ Your workouts don’t need to be perfect, intense, or long right now

They just need to be repeatable
Because that’s the goal in this phase
Not your “best” workouts
Not your hardest effort
Just getting back into a rhythm you can actually stick with.
You’re not starting over
You’re just getting back into practice
And that’s something we can build from

If you’re in this phase right now, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own either 🤍
