3rd Shift Caregiver

Location: Olson Manor Adult Foster Care
888 W. Olson Rd Midland, MI 48706
Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
Shift: 3rd Shift (Overnight) 10pm-6am
Pay: $16/hr

Olson Manor is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and attentive 3rd Shift Caregiver to provide overnight care and support to our residents in a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment. This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, observant, and committed to ensuring resident safety and well-being during overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

* Provide overnight supervision and monitoring of residents.
* Assist residents with personal care needs as required.
* Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies.
* Complete routine safety checks and wellness rounds.
* Administer medications as authorized and trained.
* Maintain accurate documentation and shift reports.
* Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning duties.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment throughout the night.
* Communicate important resident updates to incoming staff.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Previous caregiving, direct care, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to pass a background check.
* Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
* Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

A third shift position (10pm-10am) 3 nights a week. A part time position (8 to 24 hours a week) You would work a mix of 1st and 2nd and possibly one 3rd shift a week.
