Neighboring Week returns September 27 – October 3, 2026, and so does the Celebration Fund!

Have an idea for bringing your neighbors together? The Neighboring Week Celebration Fund can help make it happen.

This year, we're offering two ways to participate:
🏡 Neighborhood Stipends
Midland County residents can apply for a $75 stipend to host a neighboring activity in their neighborhood. Think block parties, ice cream socials, driveway gatherings, care packages, game nights, and more!

🤝 Organizational Collaboration Stipends
New for 2026! Local organizations and businesses can apply for funding to collaborate on a Neighboring Week event:
• 2 organizations = $100
• 3 organizations = $150
• 4 organizations = $200
• 5 + organizations = $250

Funding for the Organizational Collaboration Stipends is generously provided by the Consumers Energy Foundation.

Applications are available now and funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

The first two gardens on the list are so beautiful! You’ll have to check them out! Bucci Garden has a mister and a lemonade station! Calkins Garden has mocktails! Both perfect on this scorcher of a day! 🥵🥵🥵😎😎😎

The heat 🥵 is not keeping all our gardeners and volunteers down - here is the last few gardens in our 23rd annual GardenWalk today!

23rd Annual GardenWalk is happening today!!
🥵🥵Hot steaming weather will not bring us down!
Bring your fans🌬️, wear your sunscreen and drink lots of water💧 but we will see you there today 2-7pm.

All the Gardens are beautiful, you won't want to miss them!
We will be providing water and cookies at Dow Gardens. 💧🍪
