This year looks a little different for our family and business. As seasons of life change, our focus has shifted toward our family, our faith, and some new endeavors that require our time and attention. Because of that, we have made the decision to temporarily step back and reevaluate how we can best serve our community through our farm stand.
Despite what may have been shared through unreliable sources, Homesteading Roots has not been "shut down by the state", nor have we been "run out" by other businesses. Our mission has always been simple: to provide our community with quality, nutrient-dense food at a fair price, and that mission has not changed.
At this time, we felt it would be unfair to our customers to operate without being able to give the farm stand the attention and commitment it deserves. We are focusing on what is most important for our family right now while continuing to work toward future plans.
We remain hopeful that we will have fresh produce available later this summer, and we will share updates as they become available.
We are incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and messages we have received. It means so much to know that Homesteading Roots has been missed and appreciated by so many.
