It's that time of year for Level I fieldwork in physical rehab settings. If you are an OT or OTA working in any of the following settings and are able to take a Level I student, please email Amee Koehler at [email protected]

In-patient hospital/rehab
Outpatient (adults)
Home Health

Start date: Week of October 5th (with flexibility)
Schedule: 1 day per week for 6 weeks - Monday, Wednesday or Friday (you choose)

1 year experience preferred (but not needed)

Earn 1 CEU for supervision of a Level I student

Congratulations to Cohort 15 students who participated in the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association (OOTA) Hill Day at the Ohio Statehouse. Advocacy for our professional is critical and challenging. Under the guidance of the OOTA President, Christie Tuttle, students spoke with legislators regarding the importance of occupational therapy. We are impressed by their leadership and are excited for the future of our profession with them in it. Thank you for representing our program so well!

As Occupational Therapy Month draws to a close, we are pleased to share several notable achievements within our Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program. These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our faculty and the continued strength of our program.

Please join us in recognizing the following:

•Dr. Teri LaGuardia has been awarded tenure and promoted to Associate Professor, acknowledging her sustained contributions to teaching, scholarship, and service.
•Amee Koehler has earned her Master’s degree and, in recognition of her professional growth and commitment to the program, has been granted tenure and promoted to Assistant Professor.
•Following the successful completion of a comprehensive program self-study and an on-site evaluation, our OTA program has been granted Accreditation Status for a ten-year period by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education. This outcome reflects the program’s adherence to rigorous national standards and its ongoing commitment to educational excellence.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our colleagues, students, and community partners for their continued support over the past year. Your contributions have been instrumental in achieving these milestones.
