October 18-24, 2026 is Invisible Disabilities Week!

As our friends at Fight The Flame recently said, "you do not have to see someone's disability for it to be real." 🧑

Some members of the community are battling the condition without mobility devices, skin redness or other physical changes. This does not mean their pain, fatigue or allodynia isn't real!

Here at CRPSA, we support all members of the CRPS community and want to ensure the general public remembers that invisible disabilities are just as important as those that are visible.

Use this week to spread awareness! Be sure to check out the Invisible Disabilities Association page for additional resources. πŸ’™

October CRPS Support Group πŸ’›
This month, our discussion will focus on:
Making the Invisible Visible: Living with CRPS and Other Invisible Illnesses
So much of life with CRPS is unseen by others β€” pain, fatigue, sensory changes, emotional strain, and the constant adjustments that may be required just to get through the day.
This meeting will be a chance to talk openly about what it is like to live with an invisible illness, how misunderstanding can affect us, and ways we can help others better understand what they cannot see.
