❄️ Toes turning white in the cold? That could be Raynaud's
As fall temperatures drop, some people notice their toes going pale or bluish in the cold, then red and tingly as they warm up. That color change has a name: Raynaud's phenomenon. Tiny blood vessels in the toes overreact to the cold and briefly cut off blood flow.
A few ways to protect your feet this season:
✔ Keep feet warm and dry — wool socks and insulated boots on chilly days
✔ Ease into the cold: warm up your shoes before heading out
✔ Rewarm gradually — skip the scalding foot soak
✔ If toes change color often, go numb, or develop sores that won't heal, get them checked
